IN MEMORIAM

★Actor Roger E. Mosley, best known as helicopter pilot Theodore "T.C." Calvin on the classic Magnum, P.I., has died at the age of 83. His daughter confirmed the death on Facebook but offered no further details. Mosley got his start on TV in an uncredited role on 1971's Longstreet. He continued with guest appearances throughout the 70s with credits including Cannon, The Sixth Sense, Sanford and Son, Night Gallery, The Streets of San Francisco, Kung Fu, Kojak, That's My Mama, Switch, McCloud, Baretta, The Rookies, The Rockford Files, The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams, and Starsky and Hutch. Mosley landed the role of T.C. in Magnum, P.I. in 1980, appearing in all 158 episodes. He also made two cameo appearances on the Magnum revival in a different role, once in 2019 (after his last credited role in 2010) and again in 2021. His other TV credits include Roots: The Next Generation, The Jericho Mile (TV movie), I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings (TV movie), The Love Boat, You Take the Kids, Night Court, Hangin' with Mr. Cooper, The Sinbad Show, RoboCop, In the House, Walker, Texas Ranger, Rude Awakening, Good vs Evil, Arli$$, The District, Las Vegas and FCU: Fact Checkers Unit.

Mosley made his film debut in 1972's The New Centurions. Other film credits include Hit Man, The Mack, Sweet Jesus, Preacherman, Terminal Island, McQ, Leadbelly, The River Niger, Stay Hungry, Drum, The Greatest, Big Time, Semi-Tough, Steel, The White Lions, Heart Condition, Unlawful Entry, Pentathlon, A Thin Line Between Love and Hate, and Hammerlock.

★Actress Roseanna Christiansen died July 14 at the age of 71. No cause of death was given. Christiansen's most prominent role was as Southfork ranch maid Teresa on Dallas. She joineed the show during its sixth season and remained until the 14th and final season, appearing in 112 episodes. Before Dallas, Christiansen appeared on The Jeffersons as Carmen (her TV debut), the maid who replaced Florence when she quit to star in her own spin-ff, Checking In. That show lasted for just four episodes and Marla Gibbs quickly returned to The Jeffersons in 1981, paving the way for Christiansen's Dallas role in 1982. Other TV credits include TV movies This Is Kate Bennett and Temporary Insanity, and guest roles on A Year in the Life, CBS Summer Playhouse ("Some Kinda Woman"), and Matlock. Film credits include The Perfect Match, New, and Kidzz.
