★Disney's Onyx Collective and OWN jointly announced the guests for The Hair Tales, from executive producers Tracee Ellis Ross and Michaela angela Davis. Oprah Winfrey, who also serves as executive producer, will be featured alongside Issa Rae, Chlöe Bailey, Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, Marsai Martin and Chika. The six-part limited docuseries will premiere later this year on OWN and Hulu in the U.S., Star+ in Latin America, and Disney+ in all other territories. Each episode will lead the audience through a revelatory journey of connecting the personal tales of phenomenal Black women to broader societal and historic themes. Conceptualized by Michaela angela Davis and hosted by Tracee Ellis Ross, episodes will feature stories offering an honest and layered look into the complex culture of Black hair and, ultimately, Black women's identity, creativity and contributions to society - all delivered with a rare mix of intelligence, humor, style, joy and justice.

★The Netflix produced Stand Out: An LGBTQ+ Celebration, the largest-ever gathering of LGBTQ+ comics in one stand-up special, will spawn a documentary feature on the streamer titled Stand Out: The Documentary, which will combine original performances, poignant and funny interviews, archival materials, and backstage vérité footage to explore salient themes like comedy as activism, diversity in stand-up, new queer culture, and mainstreaming the alternative. The film will premiere this year.
★Hulu is adding four new food-related series to its original programming slate. Drag queen dinner party competition Drag Me To Dinner will be produced by Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka. Secret Chef will feature chefs blindly ranking each other’s food. Burning Men is a competition for regional pepper growers, and Chefs vs Wild pits two world class chefs competing and cooking in the wilderness.
★Colin Farrell, who will be reprising his role as The Penguin in the HBO Max The Batman spin-off series, will also take the lead in the genre-bending Apple TV+ series Sugar. Plot details are being kept under wraps for now.
★Saara Chaudry & Anders Holm are joining the cast of Disney+ live-action series The Muppets Mayhem. Chaudry will be a series regular, playing the younger sister of Lilly Singh's character Nora, while Holm will recur as JJ, Nora's ex.

★Season 9 of Bravo's Married to Medicine will premiere Sunday, July 10 at 9:00 PM, with new episodes streaming next day on Peacock. Returning this season: Dr. Jacqueline Walters, Dr. Simone Whitmore, Dr. Heavenly Kimes, Dr. Contessa Metcalfe, Quad Webb, Toya Bush Harris, and Anila Sajja.
★New episodes of My Lottery Dream Home, with host David Bromstad, return to HGTV Friday, July 8 at 9:00 PM, and will be available to stream on discovery+.
★Food Network star Jeff Mauro will surprise neighborhood block parties with the ultimate outdoor culinary competition when Kitchen Crash returns with four new hour-long episodes premiering Tuesday, July 12 at 10:00 PM.

★CBS' makeover series Secret Celebrity Renovation will have a new member joining the design team -- Survivor favorite "Boston Rob" Mariano. Mariano was one of the celebrities on Season 1 who gifted a renovation to a loved one. Featured celebrities this season include Utkarsh Ambudkar, Annaleigh Ashford, Devin Booker, Kandi Burruss, Nathan Chen, Aaron Donald, Billy Gardell, Debbie Gibson, Shaquille O'Neal and Nicole Scherzinger. Nischelle Turner Returns as Host, Along with Interior Designer Sabrina Soto, and the second season will premiere Friday, July 22 at 8:00 PM, available next day on Paramount+.

★Marvel may have its next 'team up' movie in the works. The studio is said to be developing Thunderbolts, a team of supervillians, for the big screen. Black Widow scribe Eric Pearson will write, and Robot & Frank director Jake Schreier is currently on board to helm the film.
★Ben Platt, Molly Gordon, Noah Galvin, Amy Sedaris, Alan S. Kim, Patti Harrison, Owen Thiele, Jimmy Tatro, Ayo Edebiri, Caroline Aaron and Nathan Lee Graham will star in the musical comedy Theater Camp, with Gordon making her directorial debut with Nick Lieberman. The screenplay was written by Platt, Gordon and Lieberman, and is inspired by their 2020 short film of the same name. Alexander Bello, Kyndra Sanchez, Bailee Bonick, Donovan Colan and Vivienne Sachs round out the cast. The film will feature original music written by Galvin, Gordon, Lieberman, Platt and Mark Sonnenblick.

★Universal Pictures and Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment will bring classics E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial and Jaws to the IMAX screen for the first time. E.T. will hit IMAX on August 12 in celebration of the film's 40th anniversary, while Jaws will be released in IMAX and RealD 3D beginning September 2.
★Outer Banks star Chase Stokes will get his first leading role in a film as he stars in Music Got Me Here, based on the true story of Forrest Allen and Tom Sweitzer. Gurinder Chadha will direct. Sweitzer, a high school music teacher in a small Virginia town, finds his world upended when former student Allen is left in a coma following a freak snowboarding accident. Allen's family contacts Sweitzer to use music therapy as a means of breaking through to their son, their last hope for his recovery.
STAGE NEWS
★The Tony Awards celebrates its 75th anniversary Sunday, June 12 on CBS at 8:00 PM, with performances from this year's Tony-nominated musicals A Strange Loop, Company, Girl from the North Country, MJ, Mr. Saturday Night, The Music Man, Paradise Square and SIX. There will also be special performances by Bernadette Peters, Billy Porter and a reunion of original cast members of Spring Awakening. Ariana DeBose will host. At 7:00 PM, Darren Criss and Julianne Hough will host an hour-long Tony special on Paramount+.
